Freedom 5k

The Freedom 5k is a family friendly event to celebrate the birth of our nation.

This event is a 5k run that begins at Victory Park and follows the bike path through Sycamore Creek Park. The route continues down Hereford Drive, turning on to Pickering Drive, turns around, and repeats the route back to Victory Park. The distance is 3.1 miles. So be sure to bring the whole family!

Date: Saturday July 13, 2024

Times: Day of event registration: 7:15 am

OrthoNeuro Freedom 5k: 8:30 am

Location: Victory Park located at 100 Lockville Rd. in Pickerington.

Parking: Parking is available at Victory Park, Sycamore Creek Park, City Hall, the City Lot on Columbus Street, Building Department Lot, Town Square Drive, Olde Village Street Parking, and the Visitor Parking Lot of Ridgeview Junior High School.

Race Number/Shirt Pick-Up:

Race day pickup will be available near the start/finish line beginning at 7:15 AM.


The route for the Freedom 5k will take you through Sycamore Creek Park. A copy of the course map can be seen by clicking here

Refreshments and post race:

Light refreshments will be available for race participants at the start and finish lines.

Results within minutes after conclusion of the race via text and/or email.

Each participant will receive a Freedom 5k dog tag. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top male and female finisher in the following age categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over.

T-Shirt and Picktown Palooza Admission Pass:

Runners who register AND make full payment by June 15, 2024 will receive a
commemorative 2024 OrthoNeuro Freedom 5k T-Shirt and a three-day admission pass to the Picktown Palooza.
